I am an assistant controller at a brick company, which is the most flexible, work/life friendly job I've ever had. I have two very busy kids who are involved in many activities. My daughter is in high school at Appomattox Regional Governor's School, with her major as Literary Arts. She's on the volleyball team and is a starting freshman. Such a smart and well rounded girl. My son is in second grade and plays baseball. He tried out wrestling this winter and enjoyed it. He also takes weekly guitar lessons. He is the silliest and sweetest boy and talks A LOT. I experienced the sudden loss of my mom in 2018, who was truly my best friend. It was a shock and it has been a really hard thing to process. I miss her like crazy, every single day.
